Crazy Egg Gong friction mallet PRO - 50mm

Versatile sounds and brightly coloured optics

This rubber gives you a wide range of sounds thanks to the different surfaces. The brightly coloured look is eye-catching and sets the scene for your soundscape.

Awaken multi-faceted worlds of sound with the Crazy Egg gong rubber

Explore a new dimension of sound play with the Crazy Egg gong driver. In contrast to conventional gong mallets, the Crazy Egg gives you different surfaces that allow you to play a wide range of tones. Thanks to its unusual shape, both very small and large contact surfaces are possible on your sound instrument. The soft and gentle surface of the rubber compound provides a pleasant playing feel and a versatile sound design. The ‘crazy egg’ is available in bright colours and is sure to attract attention.

Variety of sounds thanks to different surfaces

Be inspired by the versatility of this mallet and create a wide variety of tones with ease. We use a sustainable rubber mixture and corn starch in the head of this mallet. The surface is only gently roughened with a special tool in the final production step. Thanks to its shape and texture, the Crazy Egg gong rubber allows you to produce bright, medium and deep tone colours with ease. With skilful handling, you can even produce sounds reminiscent of whale songs.

PLEASE NOTE: Small irregularities are completely normal!

The balls of our friction mallets are moulded by hand and then finished with various tools until the desired surface is achieved. This can result in small irregularities on the ball, which are due to this manual process. This is therefore completely normal and has no influence whatsoever on the sound you can produce with this rubber.
